Why is “Be Prepared” the Scout motto? What does it even mean?
Ken and Colin discuss the podcast's new logo, and Canada Day as well, before exploring the Scout Motto: Be Prepared. Why, exactly, did Baden-Powell (yes, the motto abbreviates to his initials; this was a deliberate thing) choose this motto, and what did he mean by it?

We'd like to give a big shout-out to Stephanie, who left a great comment on the podcast's Facebook page:
Thanks for having such a great Canadian Scouting focused podcast. As a current rover (and cub scouter) who has grown up in the program it's great to hear your experiences. So once again thank you for creating an awesome podcast that is very reletable to.
And regarding the comments about banter in Episode 41, she also had this to say:
I love your tangents. Part of what makes your podcast is so great is the informal format and all the tangents you go on.
And hey...happy Canada Day, all you Canadian listeners (at home and abroad)!
Finally, as always, a big thank you to the folks at Scouting Radio for rebroadcasting Scouting Stuff episodes to their worldwide Scouting audience. If you're listening to us on Scouting Radio right now, let us know; reach out and get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
