A few stories and memories from the 1997 Canadian Jamboree.
This episode was done on the fly by Ken, after a) none of the Scout groups who had offered to possibly submit recordings from the recently-concluded 2017 Canadian Jamboree were able to do so, and after b) the recording for another episode featuring Regan experienced some local data corruption (so hopefully the backups are intact!).
Not having been able to attend CJ2017, Ken instead spends a bit of time reflecting on his memories of another Canadian Jamboree, one that occurred twenty years prior in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
As always, a big thank you to the folks at Scouting Radio for rebroadcasting Scouting Stuff episodes to their worldwide Scouting audience. If you're listening to us on Scouting Radio right now, let us know; reach out and get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
