Podcast Topics

To kick off 2019, Ken and Colin sit down to discuss the humble knife, that ubiquitous Scouting tool. Different types of knives are discussed, as well as the need to care for knives and keep them sharp and in good condition (among other safety tips). Also discussed in Scouts Canada's policies regarding knives, including some common myths about who can and cannot use a knife at a Scouting activity, and what requirements a Scout must satisfy to earn his or her knife permit.

Our first shout-out of the year goes to Andrew, who wrote in with a bit of a correction regarding our previous episode:

Hey Kenneth, listened to the latest podcast (all the way over here in Scotland!). May have misheard or misunderstood as I was driving, but Explorers leads into Network in the UK; it doesn't replace Explorers. As I say, I may have caught it wrong though! Love hearing about what is going on in Canada and Scouting across the world!

As always, a big thank you to the folks at Scouting Radio for rebroadcasting Scouting Stuff episodes to their worldwide Scouting audience. If you're listening to us on Scouting Radio right now, let us know; reach out and get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
