Firstly, we'd like to give a shout-out to whomever nominated Scouting Stuff for inclusion on Podbean's list of Featured Podcasts under the Government & Organizations category. That is a curated list, and for a podcast to appear thereupon, the listeners of that podcast must nominate it for consideration.
And Kelly Bruce, who sent us a message on Facebook:
I tried to send this via email but I don't know if you got it.
I am an avid scouter I came up from webelows in pack 3130. Got my arrow of light in 2000. Moved to Troop 133 where I earned my Eagle in 2008. Now back in Troop 0130 as an asstant scout master. Working with my older brother the scoutmaster, an Eagle out of this troop (troop 0130 Quivira Council BSA Kansas USA).
I love your podcast it is great to listen to well I'm at work or unwinding after a long day. I am reminded of experiences I had as a boy. And it is fun to look at the differences between Scouts Canada and BSA.
I do have a question about "cub cars" would they be about the same as pinewood derby cars in BSA?
I look forward to hearing your next podcast. If you ever need a different post of view on scouting in America in the heartland just ask.
